What's it all about anyway
They say necessity is the mother of invention. Now it can be said that an overloaded mother is the inventor of necessity.
The exact moment I was inspired to start TOOLA: as usual, I was juggling a million things and trying to do too much at once. And yet again, when an important phone call came in, I missed it because I couldn't find my damn Bluetooth headset fast enough. For all I knew, I'd actually lost it…with my call.
Out of necessity, I was inspired to create helpful, functional accessories with a variety of styles that fashionably fit my lifestyle as a former music industry exec turned busy mom. Inspired by rock and roll rebellion and the luxury of designer bags by Chanel, Louis Vitton, and McQueen, my first endeavor was creating a crossbody phone case that punctuated my image.
However, as copycats with bigger investors ran ahead of me, my kid grew up, and life took a windy path veering off into other directions. Wearing a lot more hats inevitably ensued: fundraising, event production, graphic design, marketing, social media espionage, rock and roll and rave culture. Bad-assery of the highest order. No one messes with this mom's style and commitment to live life to the fullest. If this resonates, then there are new accessories to explore: some tangible, some ideological. Once you have your TOOLA, you'll feel like you’re missing something if you don't have that extra support. Pro-democracy in action, making it happen for a better tomorrow.
